VISION |
The faculty and staff of the Center for Technology in Education (CTE) envisions future learning environments in which: • Technology is a seamless part of the entire fabric of teaching and learning, not just an add-on. • Instruction is technology-rich, project-based, and collaborative; challenging all students to meet high academic standards and prepare for the jobs and careers of the information age. • Children with disabilities work side-by-side with their peers, progressing in the general education curriculum. • Teachers and other education leaders are connected with each other in a vast network of local, state, and national web-based learning communities through which they share information, exchange best practices, and stay abreast of the latest development in the fast-paced world of educational technology. |
